Greetings from Electrical and Electronics Department, Mangalam College of Engineering.

It gives me immense pleasure to put forward the vision of Electrical & Electronics Department of Mangalam College of Engineering. The department established in 2002 has been able to impart quality technical competency for Electrical students. With qualified and experienced senior faculty the department boast of rich academic delivery both theory and practical. The sophisticated labs of the department like Power Electronics, Electrical Machines, Software lab with software like MATLAB, PSCAD, ETAP, PSIM, PSPICE help students to simulate and emulate with the real time problems in a more practical way. Addition of the new MTech program in Power Electronics and Power Systems has added to the research enthusiasm in the department.

The vision of the department is to get accreditation and add more of MTech programs. Focus on core research in the areas of Power Electronics, Power System and Control has been set as an important priority. The formation of faculty groups in these research areas and floating student projects in undergraduate and post graduate is the first step in this regard. Strengthening Electrical students association and formation of IEEE student chapter will definitely expose the students to the cutting edge research and happenings in the international domain. I take this opportunity to welcome all aspiring undergraduate and post graduate electrical and electronics engineering students to Electrical Department of Mangalam College of Engineering.

As HOD, I wish to take this opportunity to assure you that I will try my best to maximize student participation in the department and will keep the administration transparent.

Objective of the Department
