In our pursuit of excellence, we proudly introduce the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Cell, a dedicated initiative aligning with the United Nations' 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.

Mangalam College of Engineering celebrated World Environment Day along with the Inauguration of the SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) Cell on 5th June 2025, aligning with the theme 'Harmony with Nature: A Sustainable Pact.' The event emphasized environmental responsibility, sustainability, and the role of education in promoting eco-conscious practices.

To foster a culture of sustainability and social responsibility by integrating the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals into technical education, research, and community engagement.

Mission of SDG Cell Mangalam

To promote awareness, education, and action on the UN Sustainable Development Goals through innovative teaching, research, and community engagement. The cell aims to nurture socially responsible and environmentally conscious professionals who contribute to sustainable and inclusive development

The SDG Cell acts as a driving force in embedding the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), as adopted by the United Nations and its member countries, into our academic activities and community initiatives. Through collaborative efforts, the SDG Cell organizes workshops, seminars, and community outreach programs, embedding sustainability into the fabric of our institution.

As the first initiative of the SDG Cell at Mangalam College of Engineering, we are proud to launch the prestigious Village Connect Programme.

Through this programme, the SDG Cell will collaborate with interested panchayats and villages to support the effective implementation of ongoing and upcoming projects with a focus on sustainability and SDG (Sustainable Development Goals) alignment.

We will offer comprehensive technical support—from planning, design, and implementation to long-term maintenance—to ensure impactful and sustainable development at the grassroots level.
