Strategic direction, institutional leadership and governance of Mangalam College of Engineering
The Governing Body of Mangalam College of Engineering provides strategic direction and institutional leadership for the effective functioning and continuous development of the Institution. The Governing Body oversees academic, administrative, financial and developmental matters and ensures that the Institution progresses in accordance with its Vision, Mission, statutory requirements and applicable regulatory norms. Mangalam College of Engineering is promoted by the Mangalam Educational Society and functions under the guidance of its Governing Body and Management Council comprising eminent academicians, educationists, professionals and representatives of the management.

Provide strategic direction for the academic and institutional development of the College.
Frame, review and approve institutional policies and directive principles from time to time.
Review the academic performance of the Institution and recommend appropriate measures for continuous improvement.
Approve the annual budget and review the financial requirements and utilization of institutional resources.
Consider proposals relating to the introduction of new programmes, enhancement or reduction of intake, and closure of programmes, wherever applicable.
Review and support the development of infrastructure, laboratories, learning resources and other institutional facilities.
Approve and promote faculty development programmes and professional development initiatives.
Encourage research, innovation, consultancy, industry interaction, entrepreneurship and collaborative activities.
Consider and approve MoUs and collaboration agreements with academic institutions, industries, research organizations and other relevant agencies.
Promote measures for quality enhancement and continuous improvement in teaching, learning, research and institutional governance.
Encourage initiatives for student development, employability, entrepreneurship and holistic development.
Review matters relating to institutional development, governance and compliance with applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
The Governing Body provides oversight across academic, administrative, financial, developmental, quality and compliance matters of the Institution.
