The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Mangalam College of Engineering was formed in 2002. The first undergraduate batch rolled out in the year 2006. Currently the department has nearly 420 undergraduate students (BTech) and nearly 36 postgraduate (M.Tech) students.
The Department provides an outstanding research environment complemented by superior teaching for its students to flourish in. Graduates from the department are heavily recruited by both academia and industry. All over the world, ex-students of the Department occupy top positions in both academia and industry.
In order to excel in the fast paced world, students must be mould not only in the technical aspects, but also in the interpersonal skills. For our engineers to emerge as assets to the country at large, rather than the institution and organization they belong, our department has put forth the following mission and vision.
It is well equipped with highly commendable facilities and is effectively headed by Dr. Abraham C.G and guided by a team of highly experienced, dedicated and diligent faculty members.
